Repository and Self Archiving Policy

ETDC permits authors to deposit all manuscript versions in open access repositories. All published articles are also archived in Garuda and the Internet Archive.

Self Archiving : Permitted for all manuscript versions
Allowed Versions : Preprint, accepted manuscript, and published version
Repository Type : Institutional, subject, or any open access repository
Embargo Period : None
Journal Deposit : Garuda and Internet Archive

Authors are permitted to deposit all versions of their manuscript, including the preprint, accepted manuscript, and published version, in an institutional repository, subject repository, or any other open access repository of their choice. Educational Technology in Developing Countries (ETDC) also deposits all published articles in Garuda and the Internet Archive to ensure broad accessibility and long term preservation.

Permitted Manuscript Versions

Preprint
Pre review

The original manuscript before peer review. May be deposited at any time, with no embargo.

Accepted Manuscript
Postprint

The peer reviewed version before final copyediting and typesetting. May be deposited immediately upon acceptance.

Published Version
Version of record

The final published article including typesetting and journal formatting. May be deposited immediately upon publication under the CC BY SA 4.0 license.
