Focus

Tunjuk Ajar: Journal of Education and Culture focuses on the dynamic relationship between education and culture across local, national, and global contexts. The journal centers on how cultural values, heritage, and practices shape educational systems, and conversely, how education transmits, transforms, and negotiates cultural identity. Special attention is given to multicultural and digital societies, where the intersection of tradition and modernity poses particular challenges and opportunities for educational practice.

Scope

The journal welcomes empirical, theoretical, and conceptual contributions across qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods approaches. Topics include, but are not limited to:

  1. Teaching methods and learning innovation
  2. Curriculum design and development
  3. Educational policy, management, and evaluation
  4. Multicultural and digital education
  5. Language, literature, and cultural studies in educational contexts
  6. Traditions, arts, history, and local wisdom as resources for educational practice and character formation
