Digital Archiving Policy

Tunjuk Ajar: Journal of Education and Culture is committed to maintaining long-term access to published content through reliable digital archiving systems.

Archiving Systems

This journal uses the following archiving systems:

LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)

The LOCKSS system allows libraries to archive journal content by creating distributed and preserved copies.

CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)

A dark archive that secures journal content in the event of a "trigger" event.

Local Archive

Regular backups are performed on institutional servers to ensure data security.

Archiving Formats

  • PDF (Portable Document Format)
  • XML (eXtensible Markup Language)
  • Dublin Core Metadata
  • Crossref Metadata

Archiving Process

  1. Published articles are immediately archived
  2. Daily backup to local servers
  3. Monthly synchronization with LOCKSS/CLOCKSS systems
  4. Metadata preservation to international repositories
