Peer Review Process

Tunjuk Ajar: Education and Culture in Society implements a double-blind peer review process, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential to ensure objectivity in manuscript evaluation. The review process follows these steps:

Initial Screening by the Editor:

  • Each manuscript submitted will be reviewed by the editorial team to ensure its alignment with the focus and scope of the journal, as well as compliance with the writing guidelines.
  • Manuscripts that do not meet the standards or are deemed irrelevant will be returned to the authors before proceeding to the review stage.

Reviewer Assignment:

  • Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be sent to two reviewers who have expertise relevant to the topics discussed in the article.
  • Reviewers are selected based on their academic track record and research experience in the related field.

Review Process:

  • Reviewers will assess the manuscript based on originality, scientific contribution, research methodology, relevance to the fields of education and culture, and adherence to academic standards.
  • Reviewers may provide one of the following recommendations:
    ✅ Accepted without revision
    ✅ Accepted with minor revisions
    ✅ Accepted with major revisions
    ❌ Rejected

Final Decision:

  • The editor will consider the reviewers' recommendations before making a final decision on the manuscript.
  • If revisions are required, authors will be given time to revise the manuscript based on the reviewers' comments.

Publication:

  • Manuscripts that are revised and approved by the editor will be scheduled for publication in the appropriate journal issue.

Peer Review Policy

  • The review process takes approximately 4-8 weeks, depending on the manuscript's complexity and reviewer response.
  • The journal does not accept manuscripts that have been published or are under review elsewhere.
  • Any form of plagiarism will be dealt with strictly, and manuscripts found to have plagiarized content will be automatically rejected.

With a rigorous peer review process, Tunjuk Ajar: Education and Culture in Society is committed to maintaining the quality and integrity of academic publications.
