About the Journal

Tunjuk Ajar: Journal of Education and Culture is a peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually (June and December) by the Jambi Tuah Tengganai Foundation. The journal is devoted to examining the dynamic interplay between education and culture within diverse and evolving societal contexts. It serves as a scholarly platform for the dissemination of high-quality research, theoretical analyses, and innovative practices in the fields of education and cultural studies. Our Commitment: double-blind peer review, immediate open access, authors retain copyright, and published two times a year.
Current Issue
The June 2026 issue was published online on June 30, 2026. It comprises five original research articles by 15 authors from six countries: Indonesia (9), Egypt (1), Turkey (2), Libya (2), Malaysia (2), and Sudan (1). The articles explore Islamic education, eco-Islamic values, translanguaging, social media in Qur’an learning, digital ethics, and public policy. This issue presents rich cross-cultural perspectives and international collaboration. The editorial team extends its deepest gratitude to all editorial board members and reviewers for their diligent and professional work throughout this publication process.
