Revenue Sources

 

Tunjuk Ajar: Journal of Education and Culture is published by the Jambi Tuah Tengganai Foundation and operates with funding from clear and transparent sources that support the journal’s operations, technical management, and article publication process. The journal is committed to maintaining editorial independence and to ensuring that its revenue sources do not influence editorial decision-making.

Sources of Revenue

  1. Institutional Support (Full Funding). All costs of the journal are fully borne by the Jambi Tuah Tengganai Foundation. This support covers website hosting and maintenance, Open Journal Systems (OJS) management, editorial and peer-review administration, copyediting and layout, DOI registration, indexing, and long-term archiving. This full institutional funding strengthens the sustainability of the journal and keeps it accessible to researchers, academics, and the wider community.
  2. No Author Fees. The journal does not charge any fees to authors. There are no submission charges, article processing charges (APC), or publication fees at any stage of the editorial process. Because all operational costs are covered by the Jambi Tuah Tengganai Foundation, publication in this journal is entirely free for all authors.
  3. No Reader Fees. The journal is fully open access. Readers may read, download, and distribute all published articles without charge, in line with the journal’s Open Access and Licensing policy.

Editorial Decision-Making Policy

The journal emphasizes that its revenue sources do not influence editorial decisions regarding the selection or acceptance of manuscripts. Every submission to Tunjuk Ajar: Journal of Education and Culture is evaluated solely on academic quality and scholarly relevance, independent of any funding consideration. As the sole funder, the Jambi Tuah Tengganai Foundation has no role in the assessment, selection, or acceptance of individual manuscripts.

The journal is committed to upholding high ethical standards throughout the editorial process and to ensuring that the research it publishes prioritizes academic integrity and independence.
